"Gabriel's Message"- measure 56 to the end: rhythms and pitches text correct; Tenor 2- check out the pronunciation for the Basque in the beginning. I will hear that next rehearsal.
"With a Voice of Singing"- bottom of p. 5 (meas. 58) to the end: rhythms, pitches
and text correct.
"Haec est dies"- entire second page: rhythms, pitches and text correct. (see links to rehearsal tracks from 2 ago weeks post...)
"Veni Creator Spiritus"- the entire thing review.
"On Christmas Day"- measure 26-end: rhythms, pitches, and text correct
"Poor Man Lazrus"-top of p. 7 to end: rhythm, pitches, and text correct
"Down Among the Dead Men"- entire piece: rhythm, pitches, and text correct
It was obvious from our last rehearsal that much of the homework for our 10/15 rehearsal was not ready. So you should review last weeks homework and have the following ready for our next rehearsal:

"With a Voice of Singing"- top p.5. to bottom of p. 5 rhythms, pitches
and text correct (last word is "glorious")

BTW- if you miss a rehearsal when we have a memorization test, or fail a test at rehearsal, you will receive an email reminder about making up the test before our after the next rehearsal.
GUEST AT REHEARSAL THIS WEEK-
Kedmon Mapana will be working with us on the "Swahili Medley" this week and helping us with some traditional Africa dance to go along with the music. Please be on time ready to move. Below is a video of a performance of the "Swahili Medley" SPU Men's Choir performed in 2009.
In case you missed it in the syllabus our Spring Concert is Friday May 31st at 7:30 p.m. Put this date in your calendar now and get your executive function going as a responsible men's choir member.
