3. MEMORIZE "The Name of Jesus" entire piece with clapping

1. AUDITIONS FOR THE 3 SOLOS IN "The Name of Jesus" will happen during rehearsal:
solo 1- p/u to ms. 21-36
solo 2- p/u to ms. 47-62
solo 3- p/u to ms. 73-88

2. MEMORIZE "The Name of Jesus" quartet section p/u to ms.37-46

3. MEMORIZE "Sanctus" beginning to ms. 22

Homework for 4/12/11 rehearsal

Please have the following ready by our next rehearsal, Tuesday April 7, 2011:

1. "Landed"- MEMORIZE starting at measure 15 p. 3 (where the "Oo's" begin) to measure 34 on p. 7 (just before vs. 2)

2. "The Name of Jesus" MEMORIZE beginning (tenors only for the first 10 bars...)until end of measure 20. **Think about trying out for solos on April 19th.
And remember:

Clapping Group I= Basses and Baritones (starting at measure 21+; then again at measure 73+; and ms. 104 to the end)

Clapping Group II= Tenors (starting at measure 47+; then again at measure 73+; and ms. 104 to the end)

3. "Sanctus" notes and rhythm learned (not memorized) from measure 4-21.
